1) Classical/Baroque Inspired Interior Design

My dream bedroom would look something like this:

Now, if only I can find a bed frame and lampshades that look like that. At reasonable prices.


I am intrigued by the juxtaposition of the flora wallpaper against the dainty crystal lamps as well as the elegant classical-style white mirrors which adorn the vanity area.

For the uninitiated, Tim Walker is a world-renowned photographer, known mainly for his contributions to high fashion magazines such as Vogue, W and Harper's Bazaar.

Super model Lily Cole's cascading chiffon gown lends a touch of glamour and softness to the dilapidated surroundings, and is a perfect complement to the ornate spiral staircase.

Looks familiar? Yes, he shot the Guerlian advertisement as well.


I'm particularly bowled over by the colours and the vintage feel of this picture. It has a certain dreamy old-world charm that just makes it so surreal.
